ROBUST PACKAGE
A durable package that can withstand the toughest of conditions
The Pocket BVM 1000
Micro BVM developed the Pocket BVM 1000 as a new addition to the Pocket BVM family, specifically to align with the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC) recommendations. The Pocket BVM 1000 combines the compact, space-saving design of the original Pocket BVM with a 1000 ml resuscitator bag, making it well suited for tactical and emergency medical environments.
The CoTCCC Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Guidelines directs providers, under specified conditions of impaired ventilation and uncorrectable hypoxia, to “ventilate using a 1000 ml resuscitator Bag Valve Mask.” (Source: Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC), Tactical Combat Casualty Care Guidelines, Respiration/Breathing in Tactical Field Care, Joint Trauma System. Under Summary of Jan 2024 Changes - 5. Respiration / Breathing in tactical field care)
The Pocket BVM 1000 is built for tactical environments where space, weight and immediate access to equipment matter. Its patented collapsible design reduces storage space by up to 75% compared with standard BVMs, allowing a fully functional resuscitator to fit into a compact, durable case measuring just 13.4 cm in diameter × 6.3 cm high (5.2" × 2.5"). Its compact profile makes it easy to integrate into medic bags, trauma kits and other space-constrained tactical loadouts.
Designed for rapid deployment in demanding field conditions, the Pocket BVM 1000 keeps the resuscitation bag, mask, patient valve and reservoir bag together in one protected package. The robust, water-resistant case protects the device during transport and allows it to be quickly carried or passed between responders, helping keep essential ventilation equipment protected, organized and ready when needed.
